Meadow Chorus – art print

Our ‘Meadow Chorus’ art print shows two stunning goldfinch darting amongst the beautiful English countryside and a harvest mouse hiding in it’s nest. Goldfinches have the most delightful liquid twittering song and call. The collective name for goldfinches, a charm, is derived from the old English c’irm, describing the birds’ twittering song.

Goldfinch Facts : There are just three species of goldfinch in the world. Young goldfinches lack the red face. Most pairs attempt to rear two broods a year. Male goldfinches have longer beaks than females, allowing them to feed on teasels, something the females seldom do.

All our artwork is printed on high quality giclee art paper which produces amazing colour depth and gives it a natural look and feel. It is both acid and lignin free. It has a delicate surface, so we recommend extra care when handling.
